Can you get married on a hiking trail?

Yes. Most hiking trails on public lands allow ceremonies as long as you follow the permit requirements for that area. National Parks almost always require a Special Use Permit. Wilderness Areas and National Forests typically don’t require permits for small groups. The key is checking land management rules for your specific trail before you go.
