Hot Air Balloon Elopement

Abbi and Trinity kicked off their elopement before sunrise with a first look in front of a hot air balloon glowing against the dark as the burners fired up. As it inflated, they stepped inside—wrapped in color, warmth, and the soft light of the early morning.

Once the sun broke, they lifted off and played rock paper scissors before sharing their vows high above Colorado for their elopement, with the mountains stretching out beneath them. It was quiet, calm, and completely theirs.

After touching down by a greenhouse just outside Boulder, we strolled through lush greenery for couples photos, then made our way to a nearby park. There, they laid out a cozy picnic, signed their marriage license, and ended the morning with a spontaneous dip in the lake.

Simple, adventurous, and overflowing with heart—an elopement day that couldn’t have suited Abbi and Trinity more perfectly.
