Kelsey & Eric Fall Family Colorado Elopement
For their special day, Eric’s and Kelce’s fall elopement started at 3:15 AM for a pre-sunrise hike. Once settled at the summit, they separately got dressed and prepared for their first look. The moment was breathtaking, with clear skies, a rising sun, and the stunning backdrop of the Colorado mountain range. After the first look, they found another perfect spot to exchange vows and rings, navigating slippery rocks while holding onto each other. The emotions of the wedding day finally kicked in as they exchanged their own written vows with the reflections of the peaks shining on the lake below them. So epic!
Hiking back down in their full wedding attire was a special feeling, with people congratulating them along the way. They headed back to their Airbnb briefly before enjoying fall aspen leaf peeping with their dogs.
The weather was perfect as they walked their dogs, popped champagne, and signed their marriage license before heading to the ceremony. Surrounded by stunning views, they exchanged vows with their closest friends and family. The ceremony had traditional aspects like walking down the aisle, along with unique touches such as their dogs signing the marriage license and falling asleep in the aisle.
I absolutely love combining adventure and traditional elements into elopements and it goes a long way in letting the couples have their own time, while still keeping the family happy. Eric and Kelsey managed to hit all of these special moments and it was so fun to capture!
