Sarah + Jose - Independence Pass Elopement

I have to say, Sarah and Jose had one of the dreamiest and fun elopements I’ve been a part of. It had so many traditional elements of a wedding but was so incredibly stress free with a nice touch of excitement. They included a first look, a private chef, their little pup and an epic backdrop for their vows before we explored the pass near Aspen for some blue hour exploring with the pup.

One of my favorite parts about Aspen is there is so many scenic spots outside of Maroon Bells. Sarah and I went over a number of options before settling on Independence Pass because of its beauty and privacy compared to other areas. We were gifted with a beautiful sunset ceremony, which really comforted our choice! The tundra area of the pass is accessible for any age group and doesn’t take away from the experience of the couple. It’s really an awesome place to have an intimate family elopement.

Sarah and Jose really did this thing right. You don’t have to have a crazy hiking experience to have an elopement. You can make the day as whimsical and magical while still making it exciting and adventurous. I am so incredibly grateful to be part of such a fun and full-filling day!

My passion has led me here, where I can follow my heart and share my love for the outdoors with others on their wedding day. It’s truly an awesome experience, and I’m stoked every time I get to document your day.

When I’m not photographing couples, I love to go exploring with my wife and our corgi. Our dream is to own an Airstream and take Vows and Peaks on the road!
