Ron & Jared off roading elopement in Colorado

Colorado is one best places to elope for couples looking to go off-roading on their wedding day. When Ron and Jared reached out about their elopement, they actually had a different location in mind before I pitched an off-roading option and it didn’t disappoint! We met up at 4 am before setting out in the Jeep under the stars. We climbed up the mountain telling stories and trying to not freak out from the drop-off on each side of the mountain!  

We arrived at the top of the pass where they changed for their first look next to the jeep. Both chose a side of the jeep to get ready on and that really helped set up the first look as the sun fought through the clouds! They shared their first look and then shared their vows with each other before taking their wedding bands out of their Harry Potter book! This was really fun and unique because they had the book custom cut to have a hidden compartment for their rings in the “unbreakable vow” chapter. How cool!

We then explored the surrounding basin and lake for couples photos, as both Ron and Jared took in the amazing views of the Grenadiers and Cimarron mountains! They capped out their epic elopement with some bubbles and by signing their marriage license on the hood of the jeep. What an incredible journey and adventure to start their marriage!
