Alpenglow Elopement in Colorado

There is something incredibly special about sunrise in the mountains, especially in Colorado. And what better time to get married than at alpenglow? When Ashely and Kyle told me they got engaged on a hike, I knew we’d have an epic adventure for their elopement. We went over a number of different hiking options leading up to their elopement before settling on one of my favorite places in Colorado.
This day was extra special because we caught some of the leftover winter ice on the alpine lake, which made the backdrop like something out of Alaska. They helped each other into their wedding clothes as the sun was peeking over the ridge and shared a private first look. The moments were so special and incredible to capture on camera. It’s one of those sunrise light shows that’s hard to put into words! They then shared their vows at sunrise before we explore the surrounding area for couples photos where they took in the epic landscape surrounding them. They capped it off with summit beers and letters from friends and family where they wished Kyle and Ashely the best on their epic adventure in Colorado.
You really can’t write up a better script for an elopement in Colorado. Ashely and Kyle embraced the early start time while soaking in the mountain sunrise. It really was the perfect day for these two eloping in Colorado!
