We came across Vows and Peaks when we first got engaged and knew he was the perfect fit right away. Sean is so dedicated to his work and it was evident that he has a passion for elopement photography. His communication with us leading up to it was incredible and he was always available to answer all of our questions. The few days leading up to our big day there were flood warnings all around the area we planned to be in. On the day of, we made a solid attempt to stick to our original plan, but due to the weather we had to pivot. Sean was so calm and prepared with alternative locations that there was never a moment of panic or stress (and I’m very prone to stressing!). Our new locations were even more amazing than we could’ve imagined. As someone who feels incredibly awkward in front of a camera, Sean makes it so easy and natural. At the end of the day, I felt like I never even saw him taking photos because we were so in the moment. It’s safe to say I was blown away by the amount of amazing photos he captured (and how quickly we got our sneak peek photos!). Sean has that energy that makes you feel calm & comfortable as if you’re hanging out with an old friend. I am so so incredibly grateful that Sean was able to capture every emotion throughout the day so we can relive it over and over again. Our experience with Sean at Vows & Peaks was exceptional. Such a chill guy to work with and completely fit our vibe. I was a little skeptical about planning an elopement ceremony from the other side of the country - However, Sean made the whole process stress-free from start to finish. He laid out a timeline of what we needed to accomplish by what date from finding my wedding dress to booking our flights & Airbnb. He even provided helpful tips & guides along the way. I’m so glad we watched Wheel of Fortune that day when it was couples night and they talked about getting married at Estes Park - that’s what made me look up weddings there and I happened to stumble across Vows and Peaks website! We ended up switching locations the day before our elopement and I cannot thank him enough for being so flexible and understanding. From start to finish, our experience working with Sean at Vows & Peaks was so well-coordinated and fun. We found him through a Google search and, out of the many results, his website and offerings spoke to us as the most authentic and genuine. He was incredibly quick to respond when we reached out for more information and took the time to get to know us and what we wanted from our elopement. He continued to be really responsive and helpful throughout the three months leading up to our big day. He sent us a really thorough guide with many great tips and next steps. He gave us fantastic options for potential locations to choose from and he made himself available for any questions we had. On the day of, we found out just how fun and cool Sean actually is. We of course had a ton of jitters, but he brought such a light-hearted and relaxed energy that grounded us in a real way. He made sure we got up to our location safely and at our own pace. Once we were up there, we got to celebrate in literally whatever way we wanted and that's exactly why we wanted to elope. The location was STUNNING and Sean gave us the perfect amount of direction while giving us the freedom to just be ourselves and enjoy the moment. We got sneak peek photos the day after that were so incredible we thought to ourselves "how can the full album top this?!" It definitely did, though. We got our full album a few months later and were SO happy with the results. Sean captured moments we otherwise wouldn't have noticed and all of it captured the most candid and beautiful parts of that day, from our vows on a cliff ledge to our hike back down in my dress and Tevas. Sean helped make the experience everything we hoped for and now we get to relive it through his photos. Definitely hire this guy. Sean was absolutely incredible for the whole process, 10/10 my fiance and I both loved him and will forever sing his praises. We eloped in Colorado and were not super familiar with the areas, Sean helped us pick an amazing spot and guided us through everything we needed including figuring out the day of timeline. I found Vows and Peaks on Instagram about two years ago, right before I got engaged. I knew I wanted to hire Sean based on the excitement of adventure and his photos. After our initial call I could tell the vibe was a fit as well. I truly can’t say enough kind things about Sean and how he runs his company Vows and Peaks! My husband and I are from New Jersey, and we just eloped in Colorado last week. We are still in awe at not just the stunning pictures Sean took, but also with the experience he provided us! On June 12th, 2024, we were fortunate enough to have the best day of our lives getting married in Telluride, CO. While there were so many moments that we can think of that made that day so special, we know that nothing would've been the same without Sean Oblizalo. From the moment we met Sean, it was clear that he wanted to get to know us and what we wanted, so he could make sure that we had the perfect day. With both his knowledge of the different locations, and his understanding of who we are, he planned out the perfect itinerary for our wedding day. He took time to listen to the things that we hoped to include in our day, and went above and beyond finding things we didn't even know we wanted. His ability to understand the people he's working with truly is unmatched, and we still get to look back with joy at the perfect day he made possible. Sean helped us experience and capture the perfect day, sharing first looks in front of a beautiful landscape, exchanging vows on a cliffside with a gorgeous waterfall behind us, and ending it with ice cream in the middle of the street. It was the perfect day for us, and nothing would be the same without Sean. Sean is one of a kind both as a person and in the work he does. We feel so lucky to have found Vows and Peaks, and we know that nothing would've been the same without Sean to make it happen. We did a lot of research before landing on Sean. Some of the things that made us pick him included his pricing, the individual connection we had with him through the entire process, and his expansive personal experience and knowledge. His photography is art that could not be reproduced by just anyone. My wife and I value consistency, and Sean offered us just that. Throughout our year-long engagement, Sean was there with suggestions for us anytime we needed them. To emphasize how individualized our wedding experience was, I want to tell a story of how Sean saved our wedding day. My wife’s dress had a zipper mishap while we were driving between locations. Sean helped us get the zipper fixed so that the day could continue as planned. We weren't sure if the zipper was going to be fixable because it was partially sewn in, but Sean even helped cut into the dress in a discreet way to fix it. It was pretty incredible, and an act of pure patience. He helped us both calm down as the anxiety grew as well. We appreciated the reminder to breathe, as well as the sneak peeks at our photos to remind us how amazing they looked (even with the dress mishap). The photos show our true emotions through and through, and highlight what a magical day Sean helped create for us. We look back on our wedding day so fondly, and I know that we'll be looking back on the amazing photos for a lifetime. Our family is so grateful to have such beautiful photos to celebrate our wedding too.
