We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Sean from Vows & Peaks. From our very Facetime, we knew we had made the right decision. He immediately made us feel comfortable, excited and confident that we were in good hands. Sean went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process and somehow made everything feel completely stress-free. He put together a list of location recommendations specifically for us and each location with all the information we could possibly need -- permit requirements, best time of day to go, hike difficulty, what to expect, and more. He even created a customized/personalized app for us that was filled with helpful info, timelines, recommendations and a packing list. He truly was our own personal elopement guide. By the time our wedding day arrived, all we really had to do was show up and enjoy it. Then there were the photos. They are absolutely breathtaking. He somehow captured not only how beautiful the landscape was but also all of the little moments and emotions that made the day feel so special. We spent roughly 6 hours hiking and exploring with him and not once did it feel awkward, uncomfortable or like we were spending the day with a stranger. Sean is incredibly down to earth, easy to talk to, funny and genuinely enjoyable to be around. Our elopement was everything we could have hoped for and more, and a huge part of that was because of Sean. Sean had us fill out a short questionnaire, and created a day for us that was more than we could have ever imagined. The views, breathtaking, the execution, seamless. Everyone is amazed by our photos, we’ve even had friends say they wish they could redo their wedding to be like ours. If you’re thinking about hiring Sean, stop thinking and do it. He’s amazing at what he does. Most of all, Sean was as friendly and outgoing as you could hope for, making everything relaxed and comfortable. The entire process was seamless, he was a real and genuine person the entire time, maintained positivity, and was true to every promise. He took the time to learn what we envisioned for our elopement and helped guide us through choosing the perfect location. His gallery of locations and communication helped us decide on Maroon Bells near Aspen as the most meaningful location for us. It turned out to be absolutely breathtaking and everything we had hoped for. Throughout the planning process, Sean communicated exceptionally well, answered every question we had, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel exciting and manageable. On our wedding day, he was calm, patient, and encouraging. Walking over rocky terrain in a tuxedo and wedding gown wasn’t exactly easy, but he never rushed us and always made sure we felt comfortable and at ease. He reminded us that this was our day, and we got to decide what worked best for us. The photographs are simply incredible. They didn’t just capture how our day looked—they captured how it felt. Arielle MirasWorking with Sean was an absolute dream! We came across Vows and Peaks when we first got engaged and knew he was the perfect fit right away. Sean is so dedicated to his work and it was evident that he has a passion for elopement photography. His communication with us leading up to it was incredible and he was always available to answer all of our questions. The few days leading up to our big day there were flood warnings all around the area we planned to be in. On the day of, we made a solid attempt to stick to our original plan, but due to the weather we had to pivot. Sean was so calm and prepared with alternative locations that there was never a moment of panic or stress (and I’m very prone to stressing!). Our new locations were even more amazing than we could’ve imagined. As someone who feels incredibly awkward in front of a camera, Sean makes it so easy and natural. At the end of the day, I felt like I never even saw him taking photos because we were so in the moment. It’s safe to say I was blown away by the amount of amazing photos he captured (and how quickly we got our sneak peek photos!). Sean has that energy that makes you feel calm & comfortable as if you’re hanging out with an old friend. I am so so incredibly grateful that Sean was able to capture every emotion throughout the day so we can relive it over and over again. I was a little skeptical about planning an elopement ceremony from the other side of the country - However, Sean made the whole process stress-free from start to finish. He laid out a timeline of what we needed to accomplish by what date from finding my wedding dress to booking our flights & Airbnb. He even provided helpful tips & guides along the way. I’m so glad we watched Wheel of Fortune that day when it was couples night and they talked about getting married at Estes Park - that’s what made me look up weddings there and I happened to stumble across Vows and Peaks website! I could tell right away by our phone call/text exchanges that he was a genuinely kind and cool human, and he is exactly that in person. I swear meeting Sean in person felt like catching up with an old friend. He was also incredibly accommodating as I was not feeling 100% and he was ready with a back up plan. We ended up switching locations the day before our elopement and I cannot thank him enough for being so flexible and understanding. He sent us our sneak peeks right away and we are in love with all our photos. He did a beautiful job capturing our perfect day.
