Echo Lake Elopement
I love when couples have specific visions for their elopements. You can absolutely include personalizing every part of your wedding day, including with your families, while still a solo adventure, and that’s exactly what Alex and Gabe did for their elopement in Colorado. We went over a couple of different things they wanted to incorporate for their elopement including their car, a first look, a unity candle ceremony and Alexa’s father walking her down the aisle. All of these sounded so fun beforehand and they were even better playing out the day of!
We met up for a first look near Breckenridge and explored the snowy mountains during the winter on our own before warming up with coffee on the way to meet the family. We then met up with their families at Echo Lake and Alexa freshened up in the car before her dad walked her down the aisle. They shared their vows in front of Echo Lake before doing their unity ceremony with their family, friends, and dogs.
Gabe and Alexa had a really clear-cut and fun vision for their elopement and it was really fun making sure every photo captured those elements and moments. It was a really fun, adventure-filled day in Colorado that left my heart extra full!

I’ve had couples deal with weather that had no business being on their wedding day, and their friends and family still couldn’t stop raving about the photos. That’s what I’m after every single time!
