Mayflower Gulch Elopement
Winter really is a special time to elope in Colorado because of how unique and fun you can make your experience. So when Ray and Natalie reached out about their vision, we went over some dream scenarios and curated an awesome vendor team to put it all together for their elopement package. They went all in on their vendor choices, making sure to make it as memorable as possible from private chefs, to makeup artists, to video and photo. They sent it!
On the day of their elopement at Mayflower Gulch, we met up at their cozy Airbnb to get some getting ready photos before heading out on their adventure. Our next step was a first look near Dillon. This spot is especially beautiful in the winter because it shows off the areas beautiful snow capped peaks! Ray’s reaction to Natalie’s first look was one for the books as well!
We then headed out to Mayflower Gulch where they set out on a hike under the snow topped trees before hitting the final location. They started to get prepped for their big ceremony when Natalie surprised Ray with a wedding day gift. It was so cute to see and capture Ray’s excitement! They then shared their private vows under the snow capped peaks before exploring for couples photos. It was such an awesome and fun time with these two and the photos were awesome!

I’ve had couples deal with weather that had no business being on their wedding day, and their friends and family still couldn’t stop raving about the photos. That’s what I’m after every single time!
This place is not a backdrop to me. It’s home. That’s the difference between hiring someone who flies in for your elopement and hiring someone who genuinely lives in the mountains you’re getting married in.
