When I first started chatting with Ashley and Brent about their elopement, I knew the perfect spot for them in Silverton, CO in the San Juan’s. We all wanted to be cautious of the altitude, so we went over a couple options outside of hiking. Brent was especially excited about the 4
We picked them up before sunrise at their hotel before embarking on the day of adventure. We set out to one of the more secluded routes in the Silverton area. The ride up was intense to say the least. The entire view of the right side window was sheer drop off!
We finally got above tree line and were gifted with some beautiful some snow capped peaks. It was quite the scene only because it rarely snows in September in Silverton. It was like the snow gods had something planned for us!
We explored the surrounding trails in Silverton and hopped out of the car as many times as we could, because the views were never ending! It was such an epic way to show off the Silverton area to these two and couldn’t have asked for a more fun time!
