Summit County Elopement
Desi and Hannah wanted their Colorado elopement to be small, relaxed, and centered around the two dogs they consider family. They picked a Wednesday winter afternoon around Breckenridge, knowing the weather could go either way. After getting ready, loading up the car, and putting on some classic 90s music, we headed into the mountains. We stopped at Officers Gulch before continuing to Copper Key, where they self-solemnized and exchanged vows surrounded by snow-covered peaks with their dogs right beside them.
After getting married, we kept exploring, heading up toward a nearby mountain pass for more views and some champagne to celebrate. The day ended back at their place with a barbecue, a soak in the hot tub, and plenty of time hanging out with their dogs. It was exactly what they wanted from a winter elopement: no big production, no rushing through a schedule, just a full day together doing things they actually enjoy.

I’m the founder of Vows & Peaks, and I don’t just show up with a camera. I plan your day, scout the spot, handle the permits, and build a mountain adventure around the two of you.
